If you're seeking an authentic Italian dining experience in Toronto, look no further than Trecce, a charming gem located at 1792 Danforth Ave. This restaurant embodies the essence of Italian cuisine, showcasing a delightful array of dishes that transport you straight to the heart of Italy.

The menu is a treasure trove of flavors, boasting not only wood-fired pizzas that are the talk of the town but also an assortment of exquisitely crafted seafood options. One standout dish, the Salmon served with an orange glaze, is a culinary masterpiece that perfectly balances rich flavors with seasonal vegetables and roasted potatoes, ensuring each bite is a festive explosion of taste for only CA$26. For those who prefer fresh seafood, the Branzino and Sea Bream, both dressed in homemade salsa verde and grilled to perfection, are must-tries, priced at CA$31 each.

The pizza creations at Trecce are nothing short of divine. Indulge in the 4 Meat Lovers pizza, a savory celebration of Fior Di Latte, San Marzano sauce, and an array of meats, or savor the fresh notes of the Arugula pizza, topped with delicate prosciutto and shaved Parmigiano Reggiano for a refreshing touch. The modern decor combined with enchanting music creates a delightful backdrop for your meal. However, be prepared as the lighting can be a bit dim, adding to that intimate Italian charm.

Their takeout packaging is designed to ensure your meal reaches you perfectly intact, making it a convenient option for those cozy nights at home. Visited Trecce tonight for the first time for my sisters 19th birthday. Food was classic and delicious with their own unique twists (see Easter themed bunny ravioli for reference lol). Atmosphere was pretty good, music was awesome but i will say the lighting is a little too dark. Sabrina was our server and bartender. Very sweet girl, was very genuine and we enjoyed talking to her. Thank you so much.

Trecce's classic wood-fired oven spits out amazing wood-fired pizzas: perfectly charred crust, generous toppings, good sharing size. If you want an old-school style pizza, this is the way to go. Also tried: - The seafood fradiavola pasta had a generous heaping of mussels, shrimp and calamari to go with a rich tomato sauce. That said, really pricey for pasta. - The grilled octopus was tender and flavourful, though the portion size was small. - The tiramisu was properly spongey and the chocolate cheesecake was blissfully dense. Service was informative and friendly. Kitchen was a bit slow but it was a busy night. Vibe of the place was casual and welcoming. Would definitely come back if I'm in the mood for a homey Italian meal.

We ordered takeout Dinnner for my husbands birthday. Food was packaged well, the pizza was very good! I enjoyed my chicken fettuccine, and our guests enjoyed their meals which were the grilled chicken and beats, spaghetti in bolognese sauce, fettuccine allá vodka with shrimp. Unfortunately we ordered Mac and cheese and got something completely different, looked like a ravioli, but luckily my father in law still ate it and enjoyed it. Overall good food, would like to dine in next time! Oh and they even had fresh fish to purchase!

We had a birthday dinner after visiting Daydream Adventure across from the street - very convenient and perfect spot after an exciting escape room experience! The restaurant interior is beautiful, the reception and server were very attentive, super friendly and beyond helpful. They tried their best to serve individual guest's request. The food was good - the most popular was pizza. Only drawback was they charge $4/person to bring own birthday cake. We just wanted to blow candles on a cheap supermarket cake as a ritual but $30 cake would end up costing us $60 with the cake fee... Therefore we asked if they could prepare a birthday cake - yes but would cost $70... We decided to skip a cake but each gust order a dessert which worked out OK. We only had pasta and pizza but would like to go back for other entrees and mains for sure. Thank you!

Nice little spot for some Italian food. I got the chicken fettuccine and it was good. My friend got the octopus and garlic bread which she enjoyed. They make everything in house. Nice ambience and small place so make sure to have reservations or call ahead.
